Is Aluminosilicate Glass Heat Resistant?

Yes, absolutely. In on itself, aluminosilicate glass units are already resistant to highly-fluctuating temperatures. It has an annealing temperature OF 800 °C and a softening temperature of 1,010 °C.

In the case of thermal resistance, it only has a subtly high amount, compared to other glass materials.

NOTE: Some even think that aluminosilicate glass units have the same temperature resistance as ceramics materials.

Based on lab tests and assessments, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which was released just November of last year, can survive drops of 6.5 feet on asphalt and about 3.28 feet on concrete. It is the strongest, most resilient, and most surviving of all Gorilla Glass units.

Many manufacturing brands choose Dragontrail glass because it is cheaper, easier to find, and faster to deliver than Corning Gorilla Glass.

Sapphire Glass

Sapphire glass is another alternative, considering the strength, hardness, and its ability to resist basic damage like dents and even the hardest of scratches. Having a Mohs rating of 9, the only other material that can chip it off or scratch it would be real diamonds.

Ceramic Shield
